Orchestra of the Ballet Theatre "La Classique" accompanies the theatre's performances while on a tour. The number of the musicians comprising the orchestra on a tour depends on the particular performance.

Vladimir Bogorad is "La Classique"s music manager and conductor of the orchestra.

Vladimir Bogorad graduated with distinction from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in 1961 and in1965 has completed a post-graduate course of orchestral faculty.

From 1962 to 1983 V.Bogorad was the leader of bassoon group at the Bolshoi Theatre and Kremlin palace of Congresses of the USSR.

In 1963,1965,1968 he is the 1st Prize Winner at the International competitions in Leningrad, Budapest and Prague.

In 1977 V.Bogorad finished a post graduate faculty of Оpera & Symphony conducting and was adopted as a conductor to the Bolshoi Theatre.

In 1978 V.Bogorad, as the conductor, won 1st prize at the International Competition in New York.

As a conductor he cooperated with the Chamber Orchestra under the leadership of R.Barshai during 18 years. He conducted about 300 performances and symphony concerts in 35 countries around the world. He also conducted more than 500 performances in "Ballet on ice".

V.Bogorad is author of the musical compositions for ballets "Vain Precaution" (Bolshoi Theatre) and "Casanova" (USA and the Bolshoi Theatre). The music director of the ballet-films: "Mtsiri", "Prometeus"," Choreographic miniatures ", "Alibaba and 40 robbers " etc. V.Bogorad repertoir comprises 42 ballets and 48 operas.

Nowadays V.Bogorad has begun the teaching career also. On the Ballet-master faculty of the Russian Academy of Theatrical Arts he teaches a subject: "Activity of Ballet-master with the conductor" and "Ballet clavier and score" (He has above 100 students).

Besides performances at the Bolshoi Theatre V.Bogorad has conducted more than 400 performances with various ballet troupes. V.Bogorad is also the chief conductor of the Central Music School under the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire. V.Bogorad's creative cooperation with "La Classique" has started from 1990 when the theatre was founded.
