LBINA DMITRIEVA Trained at the Ballet School of the Bolshoi Theatre and during the period 1984-1988 appeared with the leading ballet companies of Russia. During 1988-1990 she danced with the Moscow City Ballet and since 1990 has been featured Soloist with Moscow Ballet – La Classique. Her numerous overseas engagements (Morocco, Egypt, Spain, Austria, France, Italy, China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Norway, Great Britain, Israel and others) have included partnering Bolshoi Ballet stars and others. Her repertoire includes Clara – “The Nutcracker”, Cinderella - “Cinderella”, Kitri – “Don Quixote”, Valencienne – “The Merry Widow”, pas de trois – “Swan Lake”, trio from Act 2 and variations with a jug – “La Bayadere”, pas de deux – “Giselle”, Paqita – “Paquita”, Bacchante – “Walpurgis Night”, pas de deux – “Satanella” etc. She has also been awarded the title “Honoured Artist of Russia”.
